09/07/2016 - St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Nursing graduate Mary Alice Frazier ’16 was named a recipient of the Future Nurse Leader Award, given by the American Nurses Association.
09/01/2016 - One hundred percent of the May 2016 Wegmans School of Nursing graduates who took the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) this spring passed the licensure test.
07/14/2016 - St. John Fisher College’s Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling program earned a fourth place rank among top value advanced degree counseling programs in New York State.
05/11/2016 - Three St. John Fisher College students were recently honored with Outstanding Adult Student Awards, given by the Rochester Area Colleges Continuing Education Association (RACCE). Katherine Grams, April Gaudy, and John Snyder were formally recognized by RACCE at a banquet on Wednesday, April 20.
05/11/2016 - Each year, the Wegmans School of Nursing holds a recognition and hooding ceremony to honor graduates of its programs. From undergraduate seniors to doctoral candidates, the event, which was held on Thursday, May 5, is the chance for the School to award students for success in and out of the classroom and thank faculty, staff, and community partners for their role in the education of program participants.
05/07/2016 - More than 1,100 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students graduated from St. John Fisher College during its 62nd Commencement, held on Saturday, May 7, at the Blue Cross Arena.

04/19/2016 - St. John Fisher College has appointed Dr. Kevin Railey as the new provost of the College, effective July 1.
03/17/2016 - Two programs in St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing are among the top 100 nursing graduate programs in the country, according to a ranking by U.S. News & World Report. Fisher ranked No. 70 for Best Nursing Schools - Master’s and No. 77 for Best Nursing Schools - Doctor of Nursing Practice on the 2017 edition of the publication’s “Best Grad Schools” list.
