Professional Development Events

Employers are a tremendous resource for students to help them understand their future career options. Special events throughout the year including resume workshops, interview preparation, and our annual etiquette dinner are great ways to promote your brand and help students. For more information, please contact contact Jamie Canfield, Associate Director of Career Services, at jcanfield@sjfc.edu or (585) 899-3740.

Hosting an Intern

Hosting an intern from our campus requires a partnership between the student, employer, and if the opportunity is for academic credit, a faculty mentor. In return, the experience offers many advantages for the employer. For more information, please reach out to Tara Bloom, Experiential Learning Coordinator, at tbloom@sjfc.edu or (585) 385-7393.
