05/02/2017 - Three St. John Fisher College students were recently honored with Outstanding Adult Student Awards, given by the Rochester Area Colleges Continuing Education Association (RACCE). Christine Burton ’17, Maria Caraballo ’17 (Pharm.D.), and Benjamin Reinhardt ’17 were formally recognized by RACCE at a banquet on Wednesday, April 12.
05/01/2017 - More than 260 students, faculty, and staff at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy traded pharmacy coats for garden gloves and work boots during their annual Pharmacy Day of Service, held on Tuesday, April 11.
04/06/2017 - Kara Thompson, a P3 student at the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy, recently placed in the Top 10 at the APhA-ASP National Patient Counseling Competition. The competition was held at the American Pharmacists Association’s Annual Meeting and Exposition, held from March 24-27, in San Francisco, California.

02/23/2017 - In April, the St. John Fisher College campus community will have a chance to celebrate undergraduate and graduate student scholars during the first-ever Student Scholarship and Creative Work Symposium.
02/16/2017 - Michael DeAngelis and Shweta Shah, both third year students in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, were recently selected as the inaugural recipients of the Unither Scholarship. Created in 2016 thanks to a grant from Unither Pharmaceuticals, the scholarship provides $2,500 to help offset the cost of tuition.
02/02/2017 - This spring, students and faculty from the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy and Wegmans School of Nursing are teaming up to compete in the Script Your Future Medication Adherence Challenge. The competition encourages an interprofessional team of students to create activities and initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of medication adherence.
01/31/2017 - A new initiative at St. John Fisher College aims to aid and support students dealing with mental illness. NAMI on Campus is the collegiate chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Though it just launched at Fisher last fall, NAMI’s Rochester chapter has served the community for 35 years.
01/18/2017 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College honored more than 80 students during its annual White Coat Ceremony, held on Sunday, Jan. 15.
01/13/2017 - After an extensive national search, St. John Fisher College has appointed Dr. Christine Birnie as the new dean of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, effective immediately. The search was led by Greenwood/Asher & Associates, Inc., an executive search, consulting, and training firm.
