08/08/2017 - When graduates of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy head out into the working world, they will encounter experiences working as members of a health care team. Through a four-week elective rotation with Advanced Placement Practice Experience (APPE) Pharmacy Missions in Roatan, Honduras, students at Fisher fine-tune the skills needed to be productive, collaborative members of those teams.

05/31/2017 - A new partnership between St. John Fisher College and eight community colleges across New York State will offer two qualified students from each school guaranteed acceptance into the Wegmans School of Pharmacy. While Fisher has long partnered with community colleges through 2+2 agreements at the undergraduate level, this initiative marks the first time the College will offer a direct pathway to a doctoral degree program.

05/30/2017 - A team of students and faculty from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy and Wegmans School of Nursing was named a finalist in the “rookie award” category for their participation in the Script Your Future Medication Adherence Team Challenge.

05/23/2017 - On Tuesday, May 9, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy officially chartered the new epsilon delta chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS). The national pharmacy leadership society, PLS promotes the development of leadership qualities, especially among pharmacy students.

Christine Burton ’17, Maria Caraballo ’17 (Pharm.D.), and Benjamin Reinhardt ’17 were formally recognized by RACCE at a banquet on Wednesday, April 12.
