07/09/2020 - Two faculty members at St. John Fisher College received a second round of funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), to support the continuation of a project aimed at generating discussions of duty, patriotism, and loyalty among Rochester-based veterans.
04/09/2020 - This summer, a group of middle and high school teachers will learn how to incorporate the study of Lake Ontario, and the streams and rivers that flow into it, into their curriculum. The new program—designed by a St. John Fisher College biology professor in collaboration with Genesee RiverWatch and Delta Environmental, Inc.—will connect teachers with tools and opportunities from local, state, and national resources.

11/09/2018 - The National Science Foundation awarded St. John Fisher College nearly $650,000 to launch a scholarship program for students who are interested in biology or chemistry and who have a demonstrated financial need. Fisher was one of nearly 80 institutions to receive the funding, selected from a national pool of more than 500 applicants.
07/10/2018 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently announced that St. John Fisher College will receive $145,000 through the Higher Education Capital (HECap) Matching Grant program. The funds will be used to furnish and equip the Upper Quad Residence Hall, a new living space expected to open in fall 2019.
