Sarachan Wins Award at Shmoovies Film Festival Jeremy Sarachan

02/06/2020 - Jeremy Sarachan, chair of the St. John Fisher College Department of Media and Communication, recently won the Audience Favorite Award for his film, “Active Voices,” during the Shmoovies Film Festival, held at The Cinema in Rochester, New York in January.

02/05/2020 - Students from two courses in the Department of Media and Communication classes attended a movement workshop led by Darren Stevenson, artistic director and CEO of Push Physical Theatre, a local performance company that uses the physical movement of the body to tell a story and convey emotion.

Fr. Graf Delivers Lecture at Central Library William Graf

William Graf, associate professor and chair of the Religious Studies Department at St. John Fisher College, will deliver the lecture, Racism in the Catholic Church in 19th Century America: a Case Study, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County (115 South Avenue).

Vicker Joins Webinar to Talk Assessment of Pharmacy Programs Lauren Vicker

01/21/2020 - Dr. Lauren Vicker, professor of media and communication, was invited to be a presenter on a webinar sponsored by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. The topic was “Co-Curriculum Assessment Modalities across Accredited Pharmacy Programs,” and mainly detailed the results of a large-scale survey of pharmacy programs.
