01/23/2018 - Earlier this month, St. John Fisher College student Diana Russo ’18 was crowned Miss Finger Lakes 2018. The pageant, which is part of the Miss America Organization, serves as a preliminary competition for Miss New York, held in June 2018.

This fall, students in Dr. Chris Collins’ biology course found that while these aquatic creatures may lack a backbone, they can reveal a lot about the overall health of the ecosystem.
