College to Host 17th Annual Day of Celebration Day of Celebration

11/30/2016 - On Saturday, Dec. 3, St. John Fisher College’s Cleary Family Auditorium will welcome hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and community members for the 17th Annual Day of Celebration. This year’s event, scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m., will be themed around the culture and traditions of the Dominican Republic.

11/29/2016 - For Aviana Catarisano and Shane Bloom, members of the St. John Fisher College School of Business chapter of international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), November was anything but ordinary. Both junior accounting majors, the two students received scholarships to join more than 350 business students and professionals at the Global Leadership Summit, sponsored by BGS.

11/17/2016 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College announced today a new effort to fight prescription medication misuse in the Rochester region. The School, in partnership with the Rochester Area Society of Health System Pharmacists (RASHP), New York State Senator Rich Funke, and Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, will distribute 7,000 medication deactivation pouches to community agencies, encouraging the safe disposal of unused prescription medications.

11/17/2016 - A team of accounting students from St. John Fisher College School of Business will have the opportunity to defend their title as national champions of the Deloitte FanTAXtic case competition, after earning a first place finish at a regional competition, held Nov. 12-13 in Boston, Massachusetts.

11/17/2016 - Earlier this month, St. John Fisher College’s College Club was formally recognized by the Bank of America Foundation as an initiative creating impact in the community. The College Club was among 19 community programs honored for their efforts in the Rochester region.
