Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign Exceeds Goal
The annual Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign exceeded its fundraising goal raising $28,537.91 for St. John Fisher College. The campaign, which ran from Monday, Sept. 23 through Monday, Nov. 4, is a coordinated effort to encourage Fisher employees to support the College’s annual fund.
This year, 167 faculty and staff—nearly 30 percent of the College’s employee base—participated in the campaign. In addition, faculty and staff make up 18 percent of Fisher’s Spire Society, which recognizes donors who give $1,000 or more annually to the College’s Annual Fund, committing to that minimum level of giving for three years.
“I continue to be inspired by the dedication of my faculty and staff colleagues,” said Phil Castleberry, vice president for institutional advancement. “Not only do they commit themselves to our students in their daily work, but so many choose to also invest philanthropically in their success.”
While the coordinated campaign has closed, employees can still donate to the Annual Fund by visiting go.sjfc.edu/employeegiving. All gifts made by faculty and staff also count as part of Fisher Forward: The Campaign for St. John Fisher College.
