While there, they participated in competitions, networked, and received recognition in four areas for their work throughout the last year. Haitian Medical Team Explores Wegmans School of Pharmacy’s Model for Pharmacist-Run Immunization Clinics Members of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy met with a health care team from Haiti.

03/18/2022 - On Monday, Feb 28, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy hosted a six-person medical team from Haiti, who was in Rochester to work with the Vineyard Farm to learn more about setting up pharmacist-run vaccine clinics in other parts of the world. The Haitian team spent 10 days meeting with different groups around the city. The team is partnering with the Vineyard Farm, a non-profit organization which serves some of the poorest and most vulnerable populations in the Rochester region.

A study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) showed that students who attend a career fair are 30 percent more likely to get an interview; and of those, half will get a job offer. Students can take advantage of these statistics this month at St. John Fisher College’s annual Spring Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, in Cleary Family Auditorium.
