Orientation

New student orientation is designed to help you make a smooth transition to college. In addition to making new friends, you'll learn about campus life, academic and behavioral expectations, campus support services, and all that Fisher has to offer!

Orientation is required for all new full-time Fisher students, regardless of commuter or residential status. It's a fun-filled time for you to become acquainted with the College and to take part in activities with your new classmates.

Typical Orientation Events

Events during our fall Orientation include:

  • Social activities to help you make new friends
  • Orientation sessions to familiarize you with campus resources
  • Family picnic
  • Matriculation Ceremony
  • Much more!

"Orientation is an amazing experience. It brings so many people together in a time of transition and makes it little bit easier."

As part of the Matriculation Ceremony, you'll have a chance to sign the Fisher Creed, a statement conceived and written by students.

"The best part of being here is the feeling that it is truly a home away from home. The Fisher family is shown on a daily basis."
