Next Generation Learning Initiative

Collaboration and connection at your fingertips.

The initiative, which provides all undergraduate students with an iPad and accessories, will connect you to your campus community, to each other, and to the world through a dynamic mobile environment. You will be prepared for a world that is increasingly digital, global, and complex and gain the academic, professional, and ethical skills required to be successful digital citizens.

iFisher Next Generation Learning Initiative

iFisher will transform the teaching and learning experience provided to Fisher students. Through iFisher, you will receive an iPad, keyboard, and Apple Pencil beginning in your first year that will stay with you throughout your Fisher experience.

Strengthen collaboration, increase critical thinking, and expand your creativity through this technology and integrated approach, all with an eye toward your career readiness for the complex global and digital world around us.

Beyond Notetaking

Every student is able to customize their notes using text, hand writing, drawings, pictures, videos & voice recordings.

“Having an Apple base we can use to launch applications for class creation allows us to create the best student experience possible.”

Creators vs. Consumers

Students are not just consumers of educational content-they are creating their own movies, animations, and more.

Access and Equity

A common learning platform ensures that all students, regardless of socio-economic background, have access to the tools we know will help them achieve success.

The iFisher Next Generation Learning Initiative provides an iPad, keyboard case, and Apple Pencil to all Fisher undergraduates.
