
05/04/2016 - As part of academic nursing’s ongoing efforts to combat prescription drug and opioid abuse across the United States, the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Nursing is proud to announce that it has committed to educating its advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) students on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.

05/02/2016 - Over 1,100 students will graduate from St. John Fisher College during its 62nd Commencement, which begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester.

04/28/2016 - Students, faculty, and staff from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy filled Cleary Auditorium on Tuesday, April 26, to celebrate a successful academic school year.

04/28/2016 - This month, St. John Fisher College played host to the 61st Annual ACS Undergraduate Research Symposium, sponsored by the Rochester Section of the American Chemical Society.

04/28/2016 - This summer, Dr. Merouane Lakehal-Ayat, a professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the School of Business, will travel to Rodrigues, a small volcanic island in the heart of the Indian Ocean. His second trip to the island, he’ll be meeting with government officials and members of the Chamber of Commerce to analyze plans to grow the small country’s economy and ecotourism.

04/28/2016 - A group of St. John Fisher College undergraduates have lent their experiences as first generation or commuter students to an advice book, The Freshman Survival Guide.

04/27/2016 - Thanks to a grant from Unither Pharmaceuticals, the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy has created the new Unither Scholars program.

04/26/2016 - Juniors, seniors, and MBA students in the St. John Fisher College School of Business had the opportunity to gain advice and wisdom from several alumni during the School’s first-ever Executive Speed-Networking event.

04/25/2016 - Jake Allen ’18 and Jessica Martin ’17 were recently named recipients of the 2016 Jack Palvino Excellence in Communication Awards. Given to two students within the Department of Media and Communication at St. John Fisher College, the award recognizes undergraduates who demonstrate academic excellence and a passion for a career in communication.

04/25/2016 - Held on Friday, April 8, the annual Civic Engagement Awards Ceremony honored students, faculty, and community partners for their outstanding contributions to service-learning at St. John Fisher College.
