02/25/2019 - Anthony Loussedes has always loved baseball. At Fisher, he found a new path for his sport. Loussedes, a sport management major, is the next senior to be featured in the 2019 Countdown to Commencement series; he was nominated by Jen Granger, business manager and compliance coordinator for the Athletics Department.

02/25/2019 - As part of its new Family Business Initiative, the St. John Fisher College School of Business will host a half-day conference, Managing Planned and Unplanned Transitions, designed to demystify the transition process for leaders of family-owned firms.

02/25/2019 - St. John Fisher College hosted its first-ever Study Abroad Festival in February, raising awareness about the array of study abroad programs available to students. And for 20 lucky students, the festival was an opportunity to apply for a passport through Monroe County, free of charge.

02/22/2019 - As part of the ongoing dialogue around race, equity, inclusion, and diversity, St. John Fisher College will host internationally acclaimed filmmaker Dr. Carvin Eison to present his documentary, “Shadows of the Lynching Tree.” The screening begins at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, in Basil 135. Hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Programs, it is free and open to the public.

02/21/2019 - This fall, St. John Fisher College will offer a new online Master of Science in Strategic Communication degree program, providing advanced knowledge in public relations, advertising, and marketing for individuals seeking leadership positions in agencies, corporations, and non-profits. Applications are currently being accepted for the inaugural fall 2019 cohort.

02/20/2019 - The Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester (MAG), the Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Commemoration Committee, and St. John Fisher College announced today a joint partnership to help honor the life and legacy of the visionary African American Frederick Douglass, whose 25 years in Rochester resulted in some of the abolitionist and freed slave’s most important work.
