
09/29/2016 - St. John Fisher College’s Bachelor of Science in Sport Management degree program was granted a seven-year accreditation from the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA).

09/29/2016 - This Alumni Weekend, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy community will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of the School with an alumni luncheon, continuing education program, and a bench dedication ceremony in honor of Dr. Scott Swigart, the School’s founding dean. The celebration culminates with a dinner on Saturday, Oct. 1.

09/29/2016 - Dr. Laura Markwick, an assistant professor in the Wegmans School of Nursing, was given the Nurse Practitioner Association’s (NPA) 2016 New York State Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award. Markwick was honored as a part of the association's annual conference, held the weekend of Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2.

09/29/2016 - This October, the Go Green Sustainability Fair teams up with the annual Healthy Living Fair, bringing to campus a group of environmentally responsible, sustainable, and health/wellness-minded organizations. The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, in LeChase Commons.

09/29/2016 - The St. John Fisher College Early Learning Center (ELC) is a full-service child care program for children ages 18 months to 8 years, with an after-school program for older children in the Pittsford School District.

09/28/2016 - On Saturday Sept. 24, St. John Fisher College’s Accounting Club hosted its 35th annual networking golf tournament at Island Valley Golf Course in Fairport. A record number of nearly 80 students, recruiters, alumni, and faculty gathered on a perfect autumn day to spend a few hours getting to know each other ahead of the 2016 recruiting season.

09/25/2016 - Nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College rallied to a 42-38 win over the College at Brockport in Courage Bowl XII on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Empire 8 Conference football matchup was played in front of over 8,400 fans.

09/22/2016 - The honorary coaches and cheerleaders for Courage Bowl XII were announced during a celebratory luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 22, at The College at Brockport. During the annual event, the Fisher football and cheerleading teams had the chance to meet the boys and girls—all campers from Camp Good Days and Special Times—who will stand with them on the sidelines at this weekend’s Courage Bowl.

09/22/2016 - This summer, a record 48 students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy engaged in domestic service trips or international medical missions. In what’s become a capstone experience, the trips provide opportunities for students to work with under-served populations, often working on health care teams at local health clinics.
