September 5, 2019

The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education 2020 College Rankings placed St. John Fisher College among the top universities and colleges in the nation. Fisher, which has been included in the list for four consecutive years, placed No. 308, rising 12 spots from last year’s rank.

To produce the rankings, the publications created a scorecard that assessed four performance indicators: outcomes, resources, engagement, and environment and use publicly available data and results of student surveys to produce the rankings.

A full list of the rankings can now be found on the Wall Street Journal’s website with a subscription, and will be available open access on the Times Higher Education website on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Washington Monthly also released collegiate rankings this month. On their list, Fisher placed No. 268 in the National Universities category. This list assesses data that focused on social mobility, research, and public service, among other factors. The publication also issued a “Best Bang for the Buck Ranking,” with Fisher earning the No. 310 spot.
