The Fisher Experience
If you were to ask Fisher students about life on campus, they would likely use one word: busy.
It sounds a bit cliché, but truly, there is never a dull moment on the Fisher campus. When the academic day winds down, the social, cultural, and community-oriented activities are just getting started. And speaking of academics, Fisher students also have on-campus access to numerous resources designed to help make life in the classroom easier and more fulfilling.
With an active Student Activities Board, Student Government Association, and an additional 70 student clubs and organizations, there really is something for everyone at Fisher. And if they are truly passionate about a topic or issue that doesn’t fit into a current club, the Office of Campus Life is always open to adding more opportunities that will enhance their student experience.
All students – especially freshmen – are encouraged to attend the annual Involvement Fest in September to get an idea of what clubs and organizations exist at Fisher, and also to meet some of the student leaders.
Each year, the College plays host to a number of service and community-building events, including:
- Day of Celebration
- Teddi Dance for Love
- Relay for Life
- Fisher Fever (spirit week)
- Project Community Convergence
Campus Resources for Students
All members of the student body – from freshmen looking for help with their courses to seniors looking to spruce up their cover letter, résumé, or LinkedIn profile – can take advantage of several helpful, on-campus resources. The services offered by these centers and offices are available to students throughout the year.
Whether they're suiting up or cheering from the sidelines, Fisher students enjoy participating in College athletics.
- Cross country
- Track and field (indoor and outdoor)
