
11/16/2016 - More than 30 St. John Fisher College accounting students competed in the annual PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) business competition. The challenge, which is sponsored by PwC, included freshman, sophomore, and junior business majors who worked for two weeks on a case scenario before presenting their findings to a panel of judges on Friday, Nov. 4.

11/10/2016 - The intersection of sustainability and philosophy will be the topic of conversation during St. John Fisher College’s 14th annual World Philosophy Day celebration. Free and open to the public, the two-day conference will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17 and Friday, Nov. 18 in Golisano Gateway Midlevel.

11/10/2016 - Two St. John Fisher College students—Giuliana Pietrantoni and Lisa Manioci—were named recipients of the Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC) Dante Scholarship Award. Pietrantoni and Manioci were among five local college students to receive the award, which recognizes academic achievement and promote pride in the Italian American heritage. The students were formally honored during an awards dinner held earlier this month.

11/10/2016 - Dr. Amy Parkhill, associate professor in the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy, was honored with the Make a Difference Award from 13thirty Cancer Connect, a regional non-profit that provides support for adolescents and young adults impacted by cancer. Parkhill was formally recognized by the organization during its annual Journeys celebration, held on Saturday, Oct. 15.

11/09/2016 - St. John Fisher College senior Megan Keib was recently accepted into an inaugural master’s degree program sponsored by international accounting firm KPMG. Developed in collaboration with the Ohio State University and Villanova University, the program offers students the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree in accounting with data and analytics at one of the institutions.

11/09/2016 - On Friday, Oct. 21, the St. John Fisher College School of Business launched its five-year strategic planning process, bringing together students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to engage in discussions that will help ensure a promising future for the School.
