In her book, Braiding Sweetgrass, Kimmerer offers a range of reflections beginning with the Creation Story on Turtle Island and addressing the issues facing the planet and human existence. The themes of interconnectedness and a reciprocal relationship with the living world are posited as the forces that can elevate ecological understanding and bring us into a closer relationship with nature.

Attend a virtual reading and Q&A with Robin Wall Kimmerer, the author of this year's Writer's & Books Rochester Reads selection, Braiding Sweetgrass. Writer's & Books will stream the live, sold out event, taking place at the Central Library of Rochester. Fisher will host a viewing of the live stream in Cleary Auditorium.
