A close examination of Nobel Prize Winner for Literature Seamus Heaney's poetry, plays, and prose reveals his shifting perspectives on American culture from the California Sixties to 9/11. Professor O'Shea was a Fulbright Scholar at Trinity College Dublin earlier this year, where he delivered a version of this talk, as well as at the Heaney Exhibition at the new Cultural Center in the Bank of Ireland Building (the old Irish Parliament), and at Queen's University Belfast, co-sponsored by the Heaney Home Place.
The lecture is free and open to the public. For further information, email Fionnuala Regan at firstname.lastname@example.org
