The Noyce INSPIRE grant goal is to support STEM teachers in training and prepare highly effective secondary science and mathematics teachers for high-needs schools. This National Science Foundation funded grant provides scholarship funds for students in STEM majors that have an interest in teaching. The scholarship totals up to $21,750 per year, during the junior and senior years, in exchange for working in a high-needs school district (with rural districts strongly encouraged) for two years for each year of the scholarship received.
The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) goal is to increase the number of students from under-represented groups who are pursuing professional licensure and careers in mathematics, science, technology and health-related fields. CSTEP provides academic enrichment and research experience in STEM content areas.
