AP, IB, and CLEP Scores (Credit By Examination)

St. John Fisher College recognizes AP, IB, and CLEP scores. The following information outlines how these scores translate to credits at St. John Fisher College.

Transfer Credit

In recognition of the college-level coursework being completed at the high school level, St. John Fisher College will consider granting credit for any coursework in which a student earns a grade of "C" or better. Once we have received the official college transcript, Fisher will evaluate all credits on a case-by-case basis.

Pharmacy Transfer Credit

The Wegmans School of Pharmacy will accept AP, IB, and CLEP credits for certain courses towards the fulfillment of the pre-pharmacy requirements. The Wegmans School of Pharmacy will not accept AP, IB, and CLEP credits for fulfillment of the science courses (chemistry, biology, or physics) of the pre-pharmacy requirements.

AP Exams

St. John Fisher College recognizes the Advanced Placement (AP) Program and will grant standing and college credit for courses in harmony with the College curriculum to students who complete the Advanced Placement Test with a score of 3 or higher. Generally, a score of 4 or higher is required on exams in biology, chemistry, computer science, U.S. history, modern languages, physics, and world history.
