I began teaching for the Wegmans School of Nursing as an adjunct clinical instructor over 10 years ago and have loved teaching since. I teach in the undergraduate program as well as graduate program in the School of Nursing. I have worked as a nurse on a general pediatric floor, pediatric intensive care unit, and pediatric emergency department. As a nurse practitioner, I have practiced in primary care, child neurology, pediatric emergency department, and I am currently practicing in the sports concussion program at the University of Rochester. I hope to continue to research the relationship between anxiety and concussion recovery so that I may be able to develop ways to help mediate anxiety and get athletes back to school and their sport more quickly.
