Message from the Chair

I hope that 2024 has already been filled with exciting opportunities, great prosperity, and an abundance of joy for you and your loved ones.

After a period of change we are fully staffed and offering a robust slate of courses to our students. In addition to our core courses, students can take electives including Athletes as Activists, Sport Governance, High School Sports in America, Politics and the Olympics, and more. We are also seeing increased engagement in the Sport Management Club. This semester, students met with executives from the Rochester Americans and also enjoyed a game together. We have more than 30 students enrolled in experiential for-credit opportunities and even more participating in volunteer experiences!

I’m proud to announce that five students—Gabe Irwin, Collin Mesick, Daniel Rochell Olano, Adrien Sienko, and Patrick Smith—were selected to be inducted into the COSMA honor society, Chi Sigma Mu, this year.
