All Day: “Good Mood, Good Food” at Ward-Haffey Dining Hall

8:30 to 9:30 a.m.: "How to Help Students of Concern" in COP Conference Room, 2nd floor Campus Center
Breakfast presentation for faculty and staff. Sponsored by the Health and Wellness Center.
10 to 10:30 a.m.: "Mental Illness Stigma" in Wegmans School of Nursing 101
Presented by Ryan Thibodeau, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology. People with mental illness more commonly avoided, devalued, rejected, and discriminated against. This presentation will explore mental illness stigma - its causes, its consequences, and what we can all do to fight it.
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: “Stress Intervention” at Ward-Haffey Dining Hall
Members of the Student Nursing Association will be in the Ward-Haffey Dining Hall to share information and techniques for stress reduction.
12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: “Relaxation Station Open House” in Wegmans School of Nursing, 107
Visit the Health and Wellness Center Open House, featuring the brand new relaxation station and play the Game of Life!
3 to 4 p.m.: “Food and Mood” in the COP Conference Room, Campus Center 2nd Floor
Hove you ever wondered about how what you eat impacts your mood? Brought to you by EAP and the Healthy U Committee, this presentation will cover current nutritional realities, how they impact your brain, and ultimately, your mood. RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org, walk-ins are welcome!
