Lavery Library Presents "El Campo: La Crisis En Silencio" Exhibit

Lavery Library's latest exhibit, "El Campo: La Crisis En Silencio (Rural Mexico's Silent Crisis)," is on display through December 22 at St. John Fisher College. The exhibit features photographs by Joseph Sorrentino, taken during his trips to rural Mexico in 2003 and 2008. Featured in the Lower Level Gallery, the exhibit is free and open to the public. Lavery Library is one of several sponsors of the Cardinal Race for Courage. The race begins at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday November 15. Lavery Library presents El Campo: La Crisis En Silencio, photography exhibit by Joseph Sorrentino at Lavery Library Lower Level Gallery. On Thursday, November 12 at 6pm, Mr. Sorrentino will share his experiences in rural Mexico, as he followed the Fair Trade movement over the past several year. Mr. Sorrentino will discuss his work and share his experiences with Fair Trade in Rural Mexico. Do the right people really benefit? A visit to the mountains of Mexico brought some answers.
