Fisher's "Dance for Love" to Benefit Camp Good Days and Special Times

Teddi2009 The 28th annual Teddi Dance for Love at St. John Fisher College will take place on Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13 in the Student Life Center on the Fisher campus. The 24-hour dance marathon raises money to support the Teddi Project at Camp Good Days and Special Times. Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks will serve as the Honorary Chair of the Dance for Love. Kujat and Roberts Named as 2009-2010 Recipients of Excellus Undergraduate Diversity Scholarship

As part of its Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Monday, St. John Fisher College announced the 2009-2010 recipients of the Excellus Undergraduate Diversity Scholarship. Mr. John Rodriguez, Manager, Diversity and Inclusion, Corporate Coach for Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, presented juniors Lorelei Kujat and Miesha Roberts with $500 scholarships in recognition of their involvement in Fisher clubs and organizations whose programs reflect a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and social justice. Dr. Tim Madigan Presents "Developing One's Character: An Aristotelian Defense of Sportsmanship" for First Friday Lecture

Madigan_Timothy.jpg Dr. Tim Madigan, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at St. John Fisher College, will present on Friday, February 5, as part of the College's First Friday Faculty Lecture Series. $3 Million Gift to Fund Polisseni Track and Field Complex at St. John Fisher College

Polisseni3 Dr. Donald E. Bain, president of St. John Fisher College, announced today that the Polisseni Foundation has donated $3 million to be used for the creation of the Polisseni Track and Field Complex at the College. This gift is the third largest in Fisher's history. READ MORE...
