St. John Fisher College held its 59th Commencement on Saturday, May 11, welcoming over 1,100 graduates into the alumni family. David McCullough, Pulitzer-prize-winning author and historian, delivered an inspiring keynote speech to the graduates, encouraging them to read, write, and continue learning.

Goonan ’75 Receives Honorary Degree
Michael Goonan ’75, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), and Chair, St. John Fisher College Board of Trustees, received an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws during the College’s 59th Commencement ceremony.

Class of 2013 Presents Class Gift
On Thursday, May 9, the Class of 2013 presented President Bain with a class gift in the amount of $3,000 during the Senior Convocation. The class gift will be put towards the College’s scholarship funds.
