Educational Technology Workshops and Events

The below events are offered by the educational technologist. The event topics focus on specific educational technologies, including Blackboard, Collaborate, ePortfolios, Turnitin and VoiceThread, as well as workshops targeted for faculty teaching online and/or hybrid courses. Special topic sessions will also be offered periodically.

This session will cover the foundational tools within Blackboard, including how to access the tool, navigating your course environment, making courses available, managing users, creating content and assignments and the basics of the grade center. This session is best for new users of Blackboard.

This session is best for moderate to advanced users who are already comfortable with the foundations of using Blackboard.
