Notes from the Preschool Room

Dear Parents,

October was a very exciting month for our class! We spent the majority of the month enjoying many fall projects and activities. We especially enjoyed our Halloween dress-up party. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who were able to join us!

We have another busy month ahead of us! The first two weeks of November we will be learning about the colors in the rainbow. Each day the children will be asked to wear the color of the day. Please check your calendar in order to find that day's color. We will end the month with a unit about the First Thanksgiving. Our class will be creating many festive Thanksgiving projects.

We are planning on having a Thanksgiving Feast on Monday, November 19. In the past, all of the children in the center have eaten together in the Murphy Dining Hall. Due to the Center's high enrollment this year, each classroom will have limited spots (5) for parent volunteers to help out and join in our feast.

The center will be closed Wednesday, November 21 through Friday, November 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday. As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Warmly,
Mrs. O.
