Accounting Alumnus of the Year Award

The Accounting Alumnus of the Year award was created in 1990 to honor the achievements of distinguished St. John Fisher College Accounting Alumni.

The recipient must not only exemplify Fisher's core values, but must meet three basic criteria of noteworthy career achievement, significant humanitarian effort, and outstanding contribution to the St. John Fisher College Community.

St. John Fisher College recognized Keith Senglaub as the 2016 Outstanding Accounting Alumnus of the Year during the 27th annual Accounting Awards Banquet on March 16 at Locust Hill Country Club.

Senglaub has more than 34 years of professional experience in accounting, financial management, and professional services positions serving media and entertainment companies large and small, publicly and privately held. His professional background includes several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers early in his career, leading the audits of publicly held newspaper publishing and broadcast giant Gannett Co., Inc. (including the launch of USA Today), followed by stints with U.S. News & World Report magazine, Phillips Publishing International, Gilder Publishing, and the AARP.

In 2004, he joined Feld Entertainment as vice president and corporate controller, and in June 2009, was promoted to his current role as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer of this global leader in live family entertainment. Feld is the world's largest provider of live family entertainment, and owner-producer of such iconic properties as The Greatest Show on Earth® (Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus), Disney On Ice®, Disney Live®, Marvel Universe Live®, and highly popular motor sports event series including Monster Jam®, Monster Energy Supercross®, and Amsoil Arenacross®.

At the awards banquet, the College also honored six alumni with Rising Star Awards. Given to alumni who have found success early in their careers, the award honors career achievements, involvement with both the community and the College, and demonstrated potential for even greater success as their accounting careers mature. The winners included: Lisa Fitzsimmons ’06, Hugh Chisholm ’06, Jason Tack ’06, James Whelehan ’07, Chris Mackikowski ’08, and Tim Marion ’09.
