Won Fisher's "Teaching Excellence Award" in 1997. Teaches writing, contemporary literature, including a popular course in detective fiction, and 18th- and 19th-century literature. Has completed a writing textbook designed for Fisher students and co-authored a 1997 book on the works of Charlotte Bronte.
