Prior to joining the faculty at St. John Fisher College, Mr. Pogroszewski was the Vice President with Sports Consulting Group, a firm that specializes in the representation of professional hockey players. In his 10 years with Sports Consulting Group, his duties included preparing federal and state taxes for the firm's clients and dealing with both international and multiple states tax issues.

In addition to his services with the college, Mr. Pogroszewski is also the President of AFP Consulting LLC a firm that specializes in the tax consequences of professional athletes. With a balance of both professional and educational experiences, Mr. Pogroszewski has kept himself up-to-date of the advances in the field of professional athletes and their tax issues. His background has given him the insight to successfully assist those involved in the professional sports world in the complexities of finance and tax.

Mr. Pogroszewski's article concerning the Alberta province tax, which outlined the tax levied on professional hockey players in order to help finance the provinces sports teams, was published in the spring 2004 issue of Marquette Sports Law Journal.
