Mohamed Mekhaimer has been an assistant professor of finance in the School of Business since August 2018. Prior to coming to Fisher, he served as an assistant professor at Clarkson University, a visiting researcher at the University of Ottawa, and a visiting fellow at the University of Portsmouth.

He has published his work in leading finance journals including Journal of Corporate Finance and The Financial Review. Mekhaimer's research has been presented at internationally recognized conferences, including the Financial Management Association, the American Accounting Association, and the American Economic Association annual meetings.
