Chris Biehn

As vice president for institutional advancement, Chris Biehn serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet and Senior Staff leading the areas of alumni engagement, annual fund, major gifts, advancement services, planned giving, event planning, and corporate foundation and government relations. He also continues to lead Fisher’s ongoing comprehensive campaign, Fisher Forward.

With over 35 years of experience as a leader in higher and secondary education, Biehn’s primary areas of focus are engagement, philanthropy, external relations, board development, leadership coaching, and strategic planning.

Prior to assuming the role of vice president for institutional advancement at Fisher, Biehn served as a senior consultant with Washburn & McGoldrick working with clients in the areas of philanthropy and engagement and developing multi-year strategic plans for the advancement division. Biehn also served in previous roles as vice president for college relations and advancement at Ithaca College, vice president for university advancement at Drew University, and chief advancement officer for the Williston Northampton School.

Biehn graduated from Hobart College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
