10/28/2020 - This week, College News features the Gaming Club. Fisher’s Gaming Club is a collection of students that believe in relaxation through gaming and socialization. They support both competitive and casual gaming to facilitate a relaxing environment.
10/26/2020 - This week, the Office of Multicultural Affairs at St. John Fisher College will host the panel discussion, Racial Restoration.
10/19/2020 - This week, College New’s #ClubCorner features Colleges against Cancer. Also known as CAC, this club provides students with the opportunity to get involved with fun events that celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
10/15/2020 - The NCAA National Office released its host site selections for a majority of its upcoming championships on Wednesday afternoon with St. John Fisher College earning the right to serve as the host institution for two of the association’s largest postseason events.
10/12/2020 - Since summer, a small, passionate group of students, faculty, and staff has been engaging in ongoing discussions around topics of racial equity, social justice, diversity, and inclusion.
10/11/2020 - Through the month of October, white and red flags line LeChase Commons in an effort to raise awareness of domestic violence. An initiative of the College’s Peer Support Team, the red flags represent unhealthy relationships and the white display bystander intervention messages.
10/08/2020 - This week, College News’ #ClubCorner features the Black Student Union. Also known as BSU, this club gives people of color a voice at Fisher, and aims to educate the campus community about the experience of being a black student on the Fisher campus. BSU supports black students, affirms their culture, and offers a safe space for students to share their views and opinions, as well as voice changes they want to see implemented on campus.
10/07/2020 - This fall, the 2020-2021 Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board welcomes new members into key positions. The new executive board is ready to work with the College’s student organizations to foster openness and inclusion, and create engaging campus events.
10/06/2020 - The PRIMA Group, St. John Fisher College’s student-run integrated advertising, public relations, and marketing firm, will host a panel discussion on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
10/03/2020 - The Health and Social Impact Career Fair will take place virtually from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
