12/07/2018 - This fall, Fisher’s Department of Media and Communication selected Alyssa Whitley ’19 as the recipient of the James E. Seward Scholarship. Carrying a $1,000 award, the scholarship honors Jim Seward and his 41 years of college teaching, 29 of which were spent at Fisher. The scholarship was established by former students, friends, and colleagues within the department when he retired in 2011.
12/06/2018 - St. John Fisher College’s Center for Sustainability launched a post-graduate internship program to support the recently established sustainability major, academic club, and strategic initiatives on campus.
12/05/2018 - The St. John Fisher College School of Business honored alumni, community members, and faculty during the Excellence in Management Awards Dinner, held on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
11/20/2018 - Dr. William Graf, associate professor and chair of the Department of Religious Studies at St. John Fisher College, will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of noted American Trappist monk Thomas Merton at the December First Friday Lecture.

11/14/2018 - Since its inception, Crowdfunding@Fisher has helped the community come together to support causes they truly believe in. Launched in spring 2018, the efforts help groups of Fisher students, faculty, staff, and alumni raise money for college-based and affiliated initiatives and projects.
11/12/2018 - The St. John Fisher College Department of Athletics inducted seven new members into its Hall of Fame during a special ceremony on Friday, Nov. 9, in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center.

10/19/2018 - St. John Fisher College’s School of Business is launching an effort to support the unique needs of family businesses in Rochester. The College kicked off its new initiative at the inaugural Family Business Dinner and Program on Thursday, Oct. 18.
