05/01/2019 - Linda Dickey ’07 (M.S.) and Sharitta Gross Smith ’19 (Ed.D.) were named to leadership positions at the newly established Speranza Leadership Institute at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women.
05/01/2019 - With the creation of the new Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing, the Wegmans School of Nursing will transform the way nurses treat the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities (DD). Made possible through a $5.8 million gift from Tom Golisano, founder and chairman of Paychex, and the Golisano Foundation, the Institute is the first of its kind in the United States.
05/01/2019 - Noelle Acquilano ’21 and Mikaela Huber ’21, two students in the Department of Media and Communication at St. John Fisher College, were selected to receive the 2019 Jack Palvino Excellence in Communication Award.
04/26/2019 - St. John Fisher College inducted six alumni into the College’s Science and Technology Hall of Fame during a ceremony held on Thursday, April 25.
04/25/2019 - The St. John Fisher College School of Business inducted students into Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international honor society for exceptional business students and scholars, during a formal ceremony held on Friday, April 12.
04/24/2019 - The undergraduate nursing program at St. John Fisher College ranked as a “Best Value for the Money” in an annual nationwide ranking of U.S. colleges and universities. College search website, College Factual, ranked the nursing program, which is housed in the Wegmans School of Nursing, No. 42 out of 500 programs at colleges and universities in the country reviewed as “Best for the Money.”

04/12/2019 - The sport management program at St. John Fisher College has been ranked among the best in the country by Bachelor’s Degree Center, a college search website that provides advice, resources, and rankings on traditional and online undergraduate degree programs.
04/11/2019 - On Tuesday, April 9, students from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, joined by faculty, pharmacists, and other student groups from around New York, traveled to Albany to meet with legislators.
