The panel featured leaders at work places that have won “Great Places to Work” designations. Fisher was the only higher education institution to be represented on the panel, which included Dixon-Schwabl, Sage Rutty, Hilton Central School District, and the East Aurora Central School District.

In 2016, Fisher was named a “Great College to Work For,” according to a survey conducted by the Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink LLC. The Chronicle’s survey is one of the largest workplace recognition programs in the country, and praises colleges that earn top ratings from their employees on workforce practices and policies. Fisher received honors in the Facilities, Workspaces, and Security category.

Approximately 60 administrators from the Wayne-Finger Lakes region attended the conference.
