Appreciation Week Celebrates Commuters

St. John Fisher College is celebrating commuters with a weeklong series of events, from Monday, Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 23.

Commuter Council Vice President Ranita Williams said the week is all about honoring the contributions of commuters on campus.

“As an e-board we feel that it is important to make commuters feel welcomed on campus. Our goal is for commuters to understand that they are celebrated and loved by Fisher,” Williams said.

Activities for Commuter Appreciation Week include:

Monday, Feb. 18

On-The-Go Breakfast Sandwiches
8-10 a.m. in Basil Lobby

Film Screening: Fast and Furious
5:30 p.m. in Basil 135

Tuesday, Feb. 19

On-The-Go Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Basil Lobby

Commuter Lip-Sync Battle
6 to 8 p.m. in the Campus Center Mainstage

Chance Room
6 to 8 p.m. in Wilson Formal Lounge

Wednesday, Feb. 20

Bingo and Dinner
7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Mainstage

Thursday, Feb. 21

Commuter Connects Meeting
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the COP

Friday, Feb. 22

Radio Social Bowling
