OCC Site Ed.D. Graduates Receive Hoods, Awards
The newest graduates of St. John Fisher College’s Ed.D. in Executive Leadership program at the Onondaga Community College extension site celebrated their degree completions during a ceremony held on Thursday, April 12.
The hooding and awards ceremony honored 20 new graduates of the program, which is offered through the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education.
Dr. Jeannine Dingus-Eason, program director, addressed the graduates present at the ceremony, reciting the names of the graduates, their dissertation titles, and what they are doing in their professional life, as they received their hoods.
Dr. Raymond Kilmer, executive principal of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, was selected as the student speaker.
The College also honored four students for their achievements. Kilmer and Dr. Mary Coughlin received the Exemplary Performance in Scholarship Award, Dr. Tricia Lyman earned the Exemplary Performance in Service Award, and Dr. Joshua A. Martin was given the Exemplary Performance in Leadership Award.
