


01/27/2017 - President Gerard Rooney will deliver a talk on the “State of the College” as part of the First Friday Lecture Series. The event begins with mass and breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by President Rooney’s talk at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center Board Room.

05/26/2016 - On Saturday, April 30, students and faculty from the St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy held their third annual health fair, benefiting refugee patients living in the Rochester area.

05/26/2016 - After 40 days on the Atlantic Ocean, Phillip Theodore ’89 and his rowing partner, Daley Ervin, were within reach of breaking the United States record for the fastest row across the ocean. One of the 40 teams competing in the 2015 Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, the pair felt they were moving at a snail’s pace. With exhaustion, ache, and hunger setting in, they were unsure if they would be able to break the current record of 52 days.

05/24/2016 - Dr. Susan Vickers, a 2016 graduate of the executive leadership doctoral program at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education, was appointed by the Hunter-Tannersville Central School District Board of Education as their new superintendent of schools.

05/24/2016 - Dr. Shannon Cleverley-Thompson was invited to present “Teaching Storytelling as a Leadership Practice” at the inaugural Global Virtual Leadership Conference on May 16.

05/24/2016 - Ten high school students enrolled in the Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Teachers program and two of their teachers visited the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education for a virtual classroom demonstration.
