Nursing Students Inducted into International Honor Society
Earlier this month, St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing inducted 73 students into its chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society.
Celebrating 40 years at Fisher, Sigma Theta Tau recognizes excellence in nursing scholarship, as well as leadership and service to the nursing and midwifery professions.
“Students are chosen by Sigma Theta Tau because of their academic excellence and their leadership potential,” said Dr. Henry Moscicki, assistant professor in the School of Nursing. “When prospective employers or academic institutions see the designation of Sigma Theta Tau membership, they know that the student met certain academic and professional benchmarks which separates them from others.”
