Campus Readies for Homecoming Weekend 2018

This month, St. John Fisher College will roll out the Cardinal red carpet for nearly 1,000 alumni during Homecoming Weekend 2018. Scheduled for Friday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 23, the weekend includes events and activities for the entire campus community.

The full slate of Homecoming Weekend events include:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

Alumnae Luncheon Hosted by Susan Rooney
Noon · $15 · Cleary Family Auditorium
Enjoy lunch with your fellow women graduates hosted by Susan Rooney, wife of President Rooney. The event includes a panel focused on mentoring, moderated by Dr. Dianne Cooney Miner, dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing. Panelists include Tierney Sullivan ’13, ’17; Dr. Kristin Picardo, associate professor of biology; Cheryl Yawman ’86; Allison Mooney ’15, ’16 (MBA); Dr. Chastity Murray ’06, ’08 (MS), ’17 (Ed.D.); and Taylor Sanders ’17.

Ten Under 10 Awards Reception
5:30-7:30 p.m. · $20 · Genesee Valley Club
Honor ten of the brightest young graduates of the last decade at this cocktail reception and ceremony. All members of the Fisher community are welcome to attend the reception and celebrate the accomplishments of the nominees. Class of 1958 hosts the 60th Plus Dinner
6 p.m. · No cost · Skalny Welcome Center Board Room
The Class of 1958 celebrates their 60th reunion, along with fellow alumni from the Classes of 1955, 1956, and 1957.

Class of 1968 50th Reunion Dinner and Pinning Ceremony
6:30 p.m. · No cost · Cleary Family Auditorium
Members of the Class of 1968 and guests will celebrate their gold reunion with a 6:30 p.m. reception, followed by dinner and the 50th reunion pinning ceremony.

Class of 1988 30th Reunion
The Class of 1988 will start their 30th celebration at Shooter’s (the Alumni Party - see above). Contact Kevin Kane ’88 for more information.
