She is responsible for leading teams in assessing information technology environments for public audit clients to support reporting and financial audits. She has received recognition for career impact appreciation, as a Woman Who Inspires, an EY Culture Award, and for providing consistent on-the-job coaching.

Frometa is a quality lead for the EY Upstate New York (Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse) practice and is one of two senior managers in the region’s advisory risk assurance practice. She is known for her eye for details, memory of client environments, and time committed to coaching and developing others.

Active in the Buffalo community, Frometa serves on the SAP advisory committee at Canisius College and volunteers with 43North and the EY Connect Day program.

David B. McKendry ’93 was named the Daniel N. Maxwell ’66 Alumnus of the Year. The ISO 9001:2008 registered company is involved in the distribution, fabrication, and machining of components supplied to various industries both locally and globally. Founded in 1914, Peerless has been run by the McKendry family for four generations and recently was recognized as a “Fast Track” fastest growing WNY company as well as a “Best Places to Work” nominee. In 2016, the company was recognized with a Manufacturing Award from Business First.

McKendry and the company are regular contributors to charitable causes through company-sponsored and employee-led initiatives. Autism Services, Habitat for Humanity, Meals On Wheels, The Belle Center, and Valley Community Center are all causes that the Peerless team has aided just this past year.
