Accounting Golf Tournament Offers Networking Opportunity

On Saturday, Sept. 23, St. John Fisher College’s Accounting Club hosted its 36th annual networking golf tournament at Island Valley Golf Course.

The winning team posted a score of 4 under par and consisted of alumnae Colleen Knauf (Deloitte) and Hilary Petralia (The Bonadio Group), as well as Fisher students Jessindae Rogers, Bryce Dinehart, Todd Stebbins, and Anthony Kousmanidis.

Local accounting professionals and Fisher alumni, students, and faculty gathered to spend a few hours getting to know each other.

Alumnus Mike Yanus (Dejoy, Knauf and Blood) took closest to the pin for the men, while student Andrew George won the men’s long drive competition. Jessindae Rogers had the ladies longest drive and alum Jennifer Riekstins was recognized for being the longest participating member (both as a student and alum).

“A heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the accounting professionals, Fisher alumni, students, and faculty who helped make the Accounting Club’s networking tournament a success,” said Hugh Lambert, assistant professor of accounting.
