Media and Communication Faculty Serve as Experts for Local Media
Several faculty members in the Department of Media and Communication have served as subject matter experts for a number of local media outlets this summer.
Tom Proietti ’67, resident scholar in media at Fisher, was on “Connections,” a daily talk radio show on WXXI hosted by Evan Dawson. Proietti joined a panel discussion on the Motion Picture Association of America’s movie ratings system. The segment is available for listening online.
Proietti, along with Dr. Todd Sodano, an associate professor in the department, were also guests on alumnus Jeff DiVeronica’s “Word on the Street” radio program on WHTK-AM. The two professors talked about the changing face of the media world, among other topics.
Sodano and Proietti, joined by Linda Moroney, an adjunct professor of media and communication, were guests on “Movies and a Microphone,” an ongoing podcast by The Little Theatre. Hosted by the public relations director for the Little, Fisher alumnus Scott Pukos, the podcast explored documentaries and the theatre’s One Take Doc series. The podcast is available for listening online.
