11/07/2016 - The top-seeded St. John Fisher College field hockey team won the program’s first-ever Empire 8 Conference Field Hockey Championship on Saturday, Nov. 5, as the Cardinals earned a 2-1 win over Washington and Jefferson College at Fisher’s Growney Stadium.

Scavenger Hunt to Raise Awareness of Campus Accessibility Kearney Hall

11/03/2016 - Student members of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) are hosting an Accessibility Awareness Scavenger Hunt on the St. John Fisher College campus. During the event, scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, teams of two will begin at the Campus Center Mainstage and travel through campus to see how accessible it might-or might not-be to an individual.

11/03/2016 - Dr. Joellen Maples has been named the 2016 Dr. Mark Szarejko Faculty Information Literacy Award recipient. This award, given by Lavery Library to a St. John Fisher College faculty member who actively supports information literacy, is named for Dr. Mark Szarejko ’80 in recognition of his support of the library.

10/28/2016 - The Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher College was recently honored with the Pinnacle Award for Collaboration in Education (PACE); given by Laerdal Medical, a leading provider of medical training products and medical equipment. The School is one of only two nursing education organizations to have ever received the award, which recognizes programs or initiatives that have exhibited consistent excellence in educational philosophy for the purpose of helping to save lives.
