Campus Encouraged to “Turn It In” During Great American Smoke Out Week No Smoking sign

11/13/2019 - As part of Fisher’s efforts toward a smoke/tobacco/vape-free campus beginning January 1, 2020, the College’s Smoke Free Task Force will hold a “Turn It In” event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Campus Center Atrium.

Women's Volleyball Crowned E8 Champions The St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team captured the Empire 8 Championship for the first time in program history.

11/12/2019 - The St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team captured the Empire 8 Championship for the first time in program history with a 3-1 win (25-13, 25-27, 25-17, 25-15) against the Nazareth College Golden Flyers on Saturday afternoon at Manning and Napier Varsity Gym.

Powerhouse Panel Teaches Students about the First Amendment On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the students partnered with The PRIMA Group to hold a special edition Meet the Media panel.

11/07/2019 - According to a recent survey taken by some St. John Fisher College students, only 38% of the respondents were able to name all five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment. These freedoms—freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, right to assemble, and the right to petition the government—are at the center of a two-week long campaign to change that.

11/05/2019 - Among the finalists for the 2020 ATHENA International Awards are Dr. Arlette Miller Smith, associate professor of English and director of the African American Studies program at St. John Fisher College, and Nancy Catarisano ’83, managing partner, Insero & Co. CPAS LLP. Dr. Mona Gandhi, associate professor of pharmacy practice and administration in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, was among the finalists of the ATHENA Young Professionals Award, which recognizes emerging female leaders.
