Rosenberry regularly serves as a communication expert for local media, commenting on a variety of topics, including social media and politics, trends in journalism, and best practices for social media use.
Rosenberry spent 22 years in the newspaper industry before joining the Fisher faculty. He currently serves on the boards of directors of the Rochester Media Association and the Irish American Cultural Institute. He is a longtime member and unit leader with Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and is co-editor of a book on digital journalism and civic engagement, Public Journalism 2.0 (Routledge, 2009).
