This is your chance to show the world your commitment to the St. John Fisher College sport management program. Just like a freshly declared college athlete, you get the press conference, the photo op, and the social media stunts.

Join us for a welcome lunch, or come a little later for an informal reception with sport management faculty and students, and learn about careers and experiences from our successful alumni. Then, it’s your time to shine when you take center stage to sign your letter of intent, pose for the cameras, and participate in an interview about your decision.

Schedule of Events

  • Noon - Welcome lunch (in Ward-Haffey Dining Hall; report to the Basil Hall lobby to pick up lunch tickets)
  • 1:15 p.m. - Roundtable discussion with program alumni on their careers and experiences
  • 2:15 p.m. - Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony, photo opportunities, and interviews

Campus tours will be available after the ceremony.

Note: This is a ceremonial celebration of your anticipated enrollment into the Sport Management program at St. John Fisher College. Your signature will not legally bind you to attend the College.

Cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner and program begins at 6:30 p.m.

Be a part of the party as the sport management program recognizes student achievements and accomplishments at our end of the year banquet. Hosted at the prestigious Oak Hill Country Club, guests can expect a delicious meal and a night full of awards. Cost is included for the Class of 2022, and family members receive a discounted price of $40 per plate.

Can't Join Us In Person?

We know many of you play spring sports, live a distance away from Pittsford, or can’t get away to be part of our event.  This doesn’t mean you can’t share in the celebration.  Download the Letter of Intent [pdf], sign it, and share it with us on Twitter.  Take a picture with your LOI and tweet us at @sjfcsportmgmt using the hashtag #TheLaunch.
