The Cardinal celebrates National Pharmacy Month

Throughout the week, faculty members will venture into the community to deliver presentations about pharmacy. Dr. Anthony Corigliano will visit the Canandaigua Wood Library from 3 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, and Dr. Anne Schweighardt will visit the Pittsford Public Library from 3 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. In addition, Dr. Matt Zak will visit eighth and twelfth grade health classes at East Rochester High School, sharing information about safe medication practices.

The week closes with a Celebration of Pharmacy Reception at noon on Friday, Oct. 27, in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy Atrium. Faculty, students, and staff will enjoy cake and raffles to celebrate the profession.

Even the Cardinal wants to be a pharmacist! Check out the School’s Facebook and Twitter accounts all week long to see the Cardinal learning the ins and outs of the profession along with students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
